a shooting riding crop

certainly one of the most uncommon shooters encountered:

the Miquelet lock tells it was made  around the Mediterranean during the early1800s, muzzle to butt cap 21" long, caliber .27 smoothbore. The basket weave material might be willow or leather -  I'm not sure.
The pistol shows the expected wear, it functions fine, over all NRA very good.
