a cluster of six 4" barrels in cal. .45, the frame and trigger guard heavily
floral engraved and in bright finish, plain walnut grip, The nipple cover
entirely surrounds the rear of the barrels with a small slot. Here is hidden a

something I did not encounter before. The barrels are numbered 1 - 6 and
correspond with the revolving breech. A trigger spur is on the guard. Besides
minor dents in the grip the condition is near perfect, and in NRA excellent
condition. Very rare specimen, perhaps unique.
The name Garate we find later
on odd weapons like the Charola Y Anitua.

Gouery & Noël Rotovolver, sometimes "Goudry",
1865 patented French turret revolver. This
unusual model is operated by pulling the double-action folding trigger, which raises
and drops a side-hammer on the fulminate cartridge and also revolves the ten-shot turret.
By opening a large gate on the left side the cylinder can be quickly withdrawn
for loading or replacement with another. The barrel is stamped on the left
side "J. F. Gouery Ganat & Co. Paris" and on the right
side "Systeme A. Noël". The frame is kept in the white as common at
the time and is fully scroll engraved and fitted with two-piece carved walnut grips.
Serial # is 28, the caliber is approximately 7.5mm = .30.
Excellent condition and working order. $5,250.
