a easily to carry pocket pistol in the size of a snuff tobacco
box, measures 3½" * 2¼" * 1½". The metal kept in the
white and now is mottled, cal. circa .38 percussion, pushing the smaller button
sideways the lid will open, pushing the bigger button and the firing pin will
hit. In fine working order and condition, made during the 1850's, probably a
forerunner of the Frankenau purse pistol.
