Unwin & Rodgers, Sheffield, patent knife-pistol in caliber .25 rim-fire, 3½" octagonal barrel with pearl front sight, the not magnetic glossy white metal shows on the left side UNWIN & RODGERS / PATENTEES SHEFFIELD and NON*XXL on the right,  two folding knife-blades one 4" with etched SELF PROTECTOR surrounded by vines and the shorter 2½", both with spring-catch stamped with further maker's details at the base on one side of each blade, pinned rounded cow horn side-plates, white-metal mounts including hinged butt-trap cover, and folding trigger, Birmingham proof marks, with strong spring in excellent working order and fine condition    $2,750.   

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

UNWIN & RODGERS PATENTEES SHEFFIELD
knife pistol with 2 folding blades, folding trigger, cal. .30 percussion, 3 5/8" Birmingham proofed octagonal barrel with bead front sight, rare ivory colored celluloid grips. Both blades are UNWIN & RODGERS SHEFFIELD marked. The metal parts are fine nickel plated, with butt cap for percussion caps. The pistol with blades is in good working order, the condition is "excellent".      $3,500.
