according to a Belgian collector friend: Raphaël has never invented nor manufactured anything. He sold under his own name revolvers made by Perrin on basis of a patent held by Mangeot-Comblain, Liège, dated 1854.
Raphael revolver, serial # 760, caliber 12mm
Raphael, 6" round barrel with dovetail front sight and a rear sight, the metal
parts kept in the white as fashionable at the time, plain wooden grips. Like all
the other Raphael no maker's name or other markings present. The distinctive 2
part cylinder as well the single and double action are working perfect.
