front sight, caliber .50 percussion rifled, under barrel ramrod attached
with 2 pipes, full stocked with checkered grip. metal butt cap, all iron parts
nicely engraved, the pair of pistols is in good working order and ine condition.
It comes in a show case with all the original accessories. A really a very attractive original set of pistols
and very difficult to find
with all the accessories. All original, no modifications.
PFEUFFER IN STUTTGART on top of the octagonal 4" barrel with dovetail front sight and notch on the rear. Very uncommon trigger mechanism that can be folded / unfolded. The frame is case hardened, hammer and safety are fire blue. the checkered grip is crisp, the barrel has a fine rifling. 5-shot cylinder, caliber .31. British V (View) proof stamps on barrel and cylinder. During the 1850's no German proof mandatory. No visible serial #.The casehardening has faded with circa 60% remaining, the function is perfect, the probably unique revolver in fine condition. sold
