Josepf
Kemp
Støckel: 1836 - 1848 in
London

high quality pair of pocket pistols "muff-pistols". 2" bright blue octagonal
barrels with front sight, gold inlaid inscription
JOSEPH KEMP with gold- and silver decoration. For good contrast the
deeply engraved hammer, frame and barrel lug kept in the white, the wooden grip
again decorated with silver inlays, the butt cap showing a lion's face. Cocking
the hammer will bring out the folding trigger. The pistols are in excellent
condition.
The pair comes in a red lined case with compartments for a rare leather-clad
powder flask, a bullet mold with a small maker's mark, a nipple wrench and
a key. The excellent condition case shows on the lid a lion.
