French made pair of pistols in a luxury case,
1860s, caliber .55 percussion rifled, no maker's name, 6½"
octagonal Damascus barrel with dovetail front sight and rear sight on breech, one
showing golden 1 and the other 2, all furniture deeply and tasteful engraved,
ebonized grips in the style of dueling pistols, in excellent condition and
perfect working order. The pair come in a show case made from selected wood
outside and very unusual also inside, and it contains all tools also in excellent condition.

caliber .56 percussion, rifled 10" octagonal barrel with dovetail front sight and rear sight on breech, the lock, guard and hammer nicely engraved, half-shafted with typical grip and butt cap. The pair are in good working order and fine condition.
Cased with a complete set of accessories including a rare powder flask. The case outside shows some use and the lid is missing, $7,500.
