Dumonthier with etched blade and case
a Belgian made and mandatory ELG proofed 9mm pinfire revolver with a an impressive folding blade, etched with maker's name Dumonthier besides vines on right side and also the left deeply decorated. Under the 4" octagonal barrel is the knife mounted with a spring which keeps it in place. The frame and cylinder are nicely engraved, black hard rubber grips. The metal kept in the white as fashionable at the time, not is shows a pleasant patina. While cocking the hammer the trigger folds out. The revolver is in good working order and in very fine condition.
It comes in an odd shaped case with an insert for 6 cartridges. Those are made and marked by Braun & Bloem in Düsseldorf. The case shows some acceptable wear and is very rare.
