DUGENNE FRERES,
Støckel: Dugenne Frères, St. Etienne, mentioned 1800
Le "Qui estqui" de l'arme en France: Dugenne Frères, 1835 - 1845,

a massive French flintlock holster pistol marked DUGENNE FRERES, 12" barrel with a tiny front sight and a rear sight over the breech, caliber .69 smooth bore, under the barrel a metal ramrod, fully stocked with some silver wire inlays, all metal parts are deeply engraved and give the pistol a very attractive impression with a heavy and scull crushing butt cap, with a strong spring in good working order and fine condition. The fully developed flintlock with a watertight pan and a friction roller on the battery spring make a very late production year.
A very rare and desirable antique!    $4,250.
