Belgian officer's pistols

an exceptional set of Belgian made Officer's Pistols of  the same  quality of dueling pistols, with the mandatory ELG proof stamp, no maker's name, big caliber circa .66 percussion, 6½" Damascus barrels with dovetail front sight and deep rifling. Lock, hammer, trigger guard, back trap and butt cap nicely engraved, ½-stocked with deeply carved fore end and channeled grip typical for the 1850's period. The pistols are in excellent condition.
The pair is in its original  high-quality case and accessories: mallet, two ram rods with iron metal heads, scissor style bullet mold for one ball with sprue cutter, combination screw driver and nipple wrench, a matching container for caps, a powder flask, some patches and bullets. The case is dark brown inlaid.
A scarce and highly desirable set     $7,500.
