big trigger to fire, small trigger to take out the barrel cluster
a very heavy six-shot-volley-pistol "one hammer releases all six shots", cal. circa .34 percussion, the barrel cluster and system are mottled brown, the grip is plain. After cocking the hammer, pushing the front trigger and pulling the center pin the 5" barrel cluster can be pushed from left to right out of the frame for loading/unloading. There is no maker's name, no proof stamp (therefore not Belgian or British made). It appears to be a simple forerunner of the French Jarre harmonica pistol. Made during the high days of percussion ignition during the 1850 - 1860s period. One can call it a prototype, in good working order and fine condition $5,000.
