Remington - Beals second model

 

 

Remington - Beals second model, serial # 439 under 3" octagonal barrel, on top flat two lined maker's patent and name

MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTON'S ILION, N.Y.
with correct two cylinders in caliber . 31 percussion, the cylinder are blue, the rest of the metal faded, crisp checkered hard rubber grips. The revolver is in good working order and fine condition. Flayderman's # 5E-002: less than 1,000 made.
The revolver comes in an original case with brown lining, a second cylinder, a small patriotic powder flask, a bullet mold for 2 round balls, a cleaning rod also to be used as ramrod, metal lined caps for REMINGTON'S belt and pocket pistols, a mot opened package combustible cartridges for revolving pocket pistols .31-100 and a working key. The case shows a few scratches which are not avoidable in its long life. This is a very rare and desirable set!
