Remington New Model Navy revolver with shoulder stock



Remington New Model Navy revolver with shoulder stock, serial # 36241, caliber .36 percussion, 7 3/8" octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and on top flat faint 3-line inscription PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 / REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NEW YORK U.S.A. / New MODEL, six shot cylinder with safety notches between nipples, the bluing is replaced with patina, plain wooden grips. Flayderman's # 5E-020. The back strap has a cut-out to install a skeleton shoulder stock. It is kept in place by a spring inside the grip and can be loosened by pulling a knob on the butt.
A very interesting and rare addition usable by a poacher. The revolver is in good working order and very good condition.    $3,350.
