V. C. R. =

marking is under the 5"octagonal barrel with dovetail front sight. The frame as
typical for the Suhl made revolvers is two-part, where an engraving covers /
connections. Most of the bright blue on barrel and cylinder remaining, the
framed was casehardened, the grips are nicely checkered, the ejector and the
double action in working order. A better variation with "closed frame,"
trigger guard and lanyard ring. Probably introduced as a police weapon. Under
the barrel is additional a stamp S which is found on Suhl made
Rare and in fine condition $1,250.
